Four Year Old Room

In the Four Year Old Room, your child will learn good manners, proper etiquette, and responsibilities suited for their age.  We will work on the alphabet, numbers, colors, shapes, vowels, and consonants in English and Spanish.  Your child will learn to recognize and write their name, letters, numbers (counting and writing 1 – 100), colors, and shapes on his or her own and will learn the names of all the U.S. Presidents.  We will also start teaching them small math problems using addition and subtraction.  Your child will also learn the days of the week, months of the year, and parts of the body in English and Spanish and will begin basic sign language as well as learning rhyming words and opposites.

Your child will have worksheets each day consisting of numbers, shapes, colors and letters.  We will be sending out folders for each child on Tuesdays each week and would like for you to sign and return them on Wednesday.  Friday will be our art day!
